From the 1939 Wizard of  Oz movie. My dad worked on the movie and brought it home to me when I was very young. It is a latex molded figurine that is about 12 inches long. Pieces of the original piano wire that suspended it are still attached. It does show some ware as it has been the object of discussion, observation and inspection on many occasions.

Representatives from the  Los Angeles County museum came out to see it, about 10 years ago, when I lived in Los Angeles County, and said it is priceless.

The Monkey will be auctioned off this fall.
